1st Grade Teacher (Part-Time)
Fall 2026–2027 School Year
Meadow Creek Academy is seeking a part-time 1st Grade Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for a caring, capable classroom teacher who can provide strong instruction across core subjects while creating a warm, structured, and engaging learning environment for young students.
This role is ideal for an organized, dependable educator who enjoys small classes, thoughtful instruction, and helping young students grow in confidence, skill, and independence.

Strong knowledge of early elementary instruction and child development

Ability to differentiate instruction and support a range of learners

Responsibilities

Plan and teach engaging lessons for 1st grade students across core subject areas

Support student growth in reading, writing, math, and foundational academic skills

Differentiate instruction to meet a range of learning needs

Monitor student progress and provide clear, consistent feedback

Foster a respectful, encouraging classroom environment

Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with colleagues

Participate in staff meetings, school events, and other school-related activities

Position Details:
STEAM Science Teacher (1 opening, Mondays)
Lead hands-on STEAM classes for both elementary and junior/high school age groups. Our STEAM program focuses on exploration, projects, outdoor learning, and life science. These roles make meaningful use of our 2-acre campus and emphasize active, engaging learning rather than worksheets.
